Will marijuana be decriminalized in California regardless of the Prop 19 outcome?
Is this a vote just to legalize and regulate the product, it will be decriminalized regardless of the vote in Jan, is that how it works?

It already is. California SB 1449 was passed and signed by Schwarzenegger. This makes possession of less than an ounce an infraction (like a traffic ticket is) instead of a misdemeanor.
Prop 19 does not decriminalize it. It legalizes marijuana. The two terms are different and do not mean the same thing.

-It’s actually still a misdemeanor, punishable by a $100 if you have ID. If you don’t have ID, they can arrest, but won’t if you produce ID.
