Why is cocaine considered worst than marijuana and alcohol?
In my experience cocaine hcl is the easiest of the three to just stop doing and it does not affect a persons behavior like alcohol. If it is not cut with all kinds of dirty products it’s not dangerous,(hard to do to much of) my opinion is if marijuna becomes legal they should also legalize cocaine.
Side note: I don’t do coke anymore(sense 2007) but I’m still an advocate for the drug I am 24 years old and successful. If it were legalized I would occasionally use it more than likley. What are your thoughts on the situation.
It’s extremely addictive – more so than alcohol, and even more so than nicotine. Also, it massively increases your chances of a heart attack.
weed and alcohol aren’t made from petrol mr successful
I agree with neonerd
and something to do with people dieing over it, more than weed and achol.
You just don’t have the biology of an addict… Cocaine is more addictive than alcohol and a million times more addictive than Marijuana. (Which is addictive to a small percentage of people that already have the biology which allows for addiction. Not “Physical Dependancy” but “Addiction”.)
You don’t “OD” on coke but you can have a heart attack… You are aware that crack is nothing but cocaine in chunk-form, right? Crack has decimated generations of people!
Alcohol is more damaging to body, mind, and society than drugs like ecstasy but coke is still horribly addictive and damaging.
Remember… Freud discovered a “Cure” for opiate addiction… Cocaine… And he believed that until a bunch of his friends died.
I highly recommend you watch the History Channel Documentary called “Hooked: Illegal Drugs & How They Got That Way”, specifically the episode on Cocaine.

I think you are naive. Cocaine has strong addictive properties, and is decidedly worse for you than marijuana, likely worse than alcohol too. Over time it will weaken your dopamine systems in the brain, making it harder to feel pleasure. Of course the system will repair once the cocaine intake stops, but if damaged from chronic use, it will never be restored to it’s original capacity.
Also the nostrils were not designed to have chemicals forced up them with a straw or dollar bill. They’re designed for air and that’s it.
I watched some cocaine show couple days ago, besides the addiction, cocaine can damaged your nasal also lead to death. I really hope cocaine won’t be legalized.
Quite often cocaine is never in it’s purest form when it’s cut and distributed. Sometimes it contains many impurities just like other drugs, and it is apparently more addictive than marijuana or alcohol and long term use can cause heart attacks. Yes you can be a functioning user but it doesn’t help you in the long run
Legalize coke? In all of my life, I don’t think that I have ever heard anyone request this one. Nor have I ever heard of anyone detoxing off of marijuana, you know…getting the shakes and whatnot. A pothead is not likely to destroy their everything (losing everything worthy) because they smoke 3 joints a day. I have never heard of anyone overdosing on marijuana. Cocain is a very serious drug and if you don’t know what you’re doing, it could kill you. I’m glad that you stopped – but whatever the reason why you stopped is probably the reason why the drug will NEVER EVER be legalized. That’s a dream that will never become a reality – Ever.
Cocaine is considered to be the most addictive out of the three. Although addicts going through withdrawal do not suffer from physical symptoms like alcoholics do, there is a strong psychological withdrawal associated with it. Also, cocaine is associated with something known as sensitization/reverse tolerance. Basically, this means that the more cocaine you do the more sensitive you become to its side effects. Because so few users are aware of this phenomenon (which also goes for the other psychomotor stimulants such as methamphetamine and amphetamine), it makes it especially easier to overdoes on the drug. This is because users assume that they will need more and more coke each time to get high, but really they are becoming increasingly sensitive to the physical side effects such as increased heart rate and respiration. Also, society sees cocaine as especially bad because alcohol is considered a social drug and marijuana is often (but not nearly enough) viewed as harmless and a pacifist-type drug while cocaine is an intense stimulant.
Rick James wouldn’t call it one hell of a drug for no reason. It is very addictive. You probably just dont have an addictive personality. Honestly though alcohol is just as bad if not worse and it is just as addicting and readily available on every street corner. If cocaine were available like alcohol it’d just be one more variable messing up the solution. The solution by the way is a normal functioning society that don’t need drugs to effect the way they feel.
There’s no point of answering anymore. Just know, your name doesn’t stand far from the definition of stupid. Probably the effect of your “past” drug use. who knows.
