Why aren’t the feds as disinterested in enforcing Marijuana laws as they are about enforcing immigration law?

One word: POLITICS.
People complain about the new immigration law, so they sue to make the complainers happy that someone is doing something about their complaint. This gets them votes int he next election.
People complain about marijuana laws being unfair, they decide not to enforce them to make the complainers happy, but they don’t repeal the laws because that would make other people angry.
Bottom line: It comes down to how they can get votes for the next election.
Please state the law AZ is enforcing that the Federal government is ignoring.

The headlines and news say sue when they should just say taking them to court. The US is taking AZ to court for an unconstitutional law. The Federal government did not ask AZ to shake people down and weed out illegal immigrants.
The Feds only said they were disinterested in Medical Marijuana. Yes – that does not seem to have been absorbed by the DEA.
