What type of person would vote “no” on Prop 19 in California?
Help me to understand this one. What’s the mentality of a person who goes to vote on Tuesday and votes no on Prop 19?

The type of person whose concerned about their children
some one who is really really on the right side of society, or some one who thinks marijuana is a really really bad drug; however, we all know that it is not. 🙂

i voted no!
but basically i really don’t care for the measure, the reason is that regardless if it passes or not people are still going to use marijuana!
besides the law says you can only carry one ounce and no more, and you have to be over 21,
i dont see that happening, people are obvously going to carry more than an ounce and underage people are still going to smoke it like they do today!
so basically i wouldn’t mind if it becomes legal but i voted no cuz i just dont give a damn, i wont smoke pot regardless what the law says!

Highly uneducated people would be my educated guess. You have a couple answers to prove my point.
Like the answer someone that cares for their children. That is ridiculous if you cared for your children you wouldnt want them thrown in jail for a herb that you cannot even over dose on. Is far safer than a few beers and will not kill you like prescription drugs. It is safe and the effects last a short time.
What about the other moron that claims someone that cares about safety. Are you kidding me? this is moronic! If you cared about safety you would legalize it and make alcohol illegal. No one has ever heard a news story mans smokes joint and beats wife. Wake up and vote for freedom. Prohibition does not work never has. Ask GOD he tried prohibition with Adam and eve and with only to to regulate he failed. Use your heads this plant is a savior and should be legal to use and tax. Regulate so our kids will have just as hard of a time obtaining pot as they would beer. Right now the way it stands they can get pot much easier than beer, don’t believe me ask them.

Why would you vote no? Why not even throw your vote to the right side, especially if you smoke pot!? Of course people are going to smoke it anyways, but a percentage of these people are going to have to deal with the legal system pointlessly for something that shouldn’t be illegal in the first place.
