No the big ones don’t have any advantages, but i guess if you smoke with a friend it’s better, and you won’t have to share a hose, but the small ones can be carried around easier, so you should probably get a small one.

Okay here’s the breakdown.
Large hookahs smoke fairly similar to smaller ones. I prefer the smaller ones cause I smoke at my desk while working at night. But I do pull out my large ones from time to time.
Only one con I see in smaller hookahs. If you pull like me, water bubble up into the hose.
Two Solutions: (I do both)
1) Get a Heba Diffuser

Breaks up the bubble smaller to make is smoother and quiter.
2) Get a Nammor Hose

They are one of the few truly washable hoses that won’t rust, and the pulls are epic!
