What happens to your vehicle if it was used in a drug sting? Would the police seize it even if you were only purchasing marijuana (which is a misdemeanor crime)?
Also what would happen to your vehicle if you’ve had drugs inside your vehicle (even if it was only for personal use)?

Vehicle used in drug operations will be confiscation because it is considered as an instrument in the perpetration of a crime.
Its gone and if you haven’t finished paying for it you get to pay for one that you don’t even own anymore.
Not only will you lose your vehicle, you could also be charged as an accessory if you loaned your car to the person caught in the drug sting.
The police could produce evidence proving you knew the person you loaned your vehicle to was a drug dealer or drug runner.
Then not only would you lose your vehicle, you would lose your freedom as well.
