The prosecute a very limited number of them. They don’t have the man power to go after the majority of them because the state of California won’t help. You get too large though and pique their interest beware.
they usually dont do anything they just let it go although they could arrest people if they wanted to since the medical marijuana clinics are pretty much being abused by everyone
They typically don’t want to go through the hassle of prosecuting the people that run the dispensaries. It would bring their hypocrisy out in the open and they can’t have that. So they will go in and just seize everything. Including all equipment. It makes opening them back up again really difficult and costly.
They don’t have the resources and the fed have stopped the raids of states who have medical marijuana laws. However, if the dispensary becomes to big, they risk a raid. Generally everything is taken and charges are filed for possession and cultivation under federal laws.
The circumstances are the deciding factor in what action the feds take.
