What do you think about legalization of marajuana?
I think about it this way there are two completely separate money systems and that’s the money we spend on things, and then there is the money that is spent on pot that never surfaces it just circulates on a different level between the growers the buyers the sellers and the middle men. Could we possibly end a recession with pot?
I just, at this point do not see why not. Everybody already knows its not harmful, less harmful than alcohol I would dare say. If you had a group of people who were drunk on one side of the street and a group of stoned folks on the other… I wonder which one you will have problems with.
Seems like we should either legalize it and tax it like tobacco and alcohol or make them illegal also?
The Government has no legal authority to regulate what adults do with their bodies.

Agree. It needs to be done, ASAP. Regulate it, tax it, put the criminals out of business, stop the unnecessary legal fees and prison costs, put that revenue into something useful.
Don’t know that it would end the recession, but it would make a positive impact I am sure.
I love the way people always compare alcohol with MJ. 8 hours after I drink many beers, I can pass a drug/alcohol test. MJ stays in your system a week or more. I do wonder how States that have legal MJ laws deal with Workmans Compensation claims when a drug test, after an accident/injury, is positive.

I think that you have very limited knowledge about economics. Regardless, legalization of marijuana is a terrible idea.
i think ganja should be legalized for one reason and one reason only. It’s a plant. Herbs are from the earth. It has been here since the beginning and it will be here in the end. Besides everybody partakes but because of persecution we are forced to hide it from authority. The funny thing about that is that they use it too. It baffles me that ganja is illegal and alcohol can be found on every street street corner. We know that alcohol more often then not leads to death and other lesser problems. I’ve never heard 1 horrific story about ganja unless it was of the police seizing and destorying the good wisdom root

Not only is alcohol worse for you, tobacco is also worse for you. Weed doesn’t turn you lungs black, make you sound like a frog, or kill off brain cells. It just barely stunts memory, and that happens as you get older anyway.
Absolutely the recession could be brought back into normality with the legalization of Marijuana, but that’s just an opinion, and one of many that are floating around.
There are already so many people that gain so much money through legal sales, like doctors and legal growers. Rappers sing about it, Artists paint about it, Actors and Actresses make movies about it. Very few people are left in today’s society that haven’t tried it at least once. Just imagine how much money is made through ”under the table” sales.
Not only would the economy boom, but State governments would have so much more money because the local and county jails wouldn’t have so many minor marijuana violations.
It’s not a hardcore drug, like a lot of people from the 80’s and 90’s were brainwashed to believe.
If it were I don’t think it could be used medically. Speaking of medically, have you ever heard of medical booze, or medical nicotine & tobacco?
I wish that they would consider airing ”Super High Me” on a news channel at least 3 times a year. It’s an extremely informative and interesting document a man did on the effects of being sober vs being high. I really shows how ”bad” marijuana is for your body. I would sincerely suggest that anyone who thinks pot is a bad thing go and rent it.
