What chemicals are in K2 Herbal Incenses and is it safe to smoke?
I just recently seen on “The Doctors” this K2 is supposed to give higher effects than that of marijuana. As a 420 friend, I would like to know what facts I can about this product.

it’s a drug that’s getting a future federal ban. resembles marijuana. doesn’t cause any deaths, but people have complained of agitation and vomiting in extreme cases. not as healthy as marijuana, and kindve risky, but legal.
The compound in K2 (NOT THE FAKE STUFF FROM CHINA) IS JWH-018. It was developed to mimic the effects of marijuana type effects on the brain. I did a lot of product testing before becoming a K2 distributor – beware – other brands use other compounds.
I can’t figure out why the Gov leaves cigarettes and alcohol on the shelves with millions of documented deaths, but is over-reacting to sensationalized reporting of NO K2 DEATHS!
We must always stress that K2 is not for human consumption.
The chemical in K2 and many other products like it (serenity, Spice, etc.) contain a chemical called JWH 18 or JWH 73. These chemicals are designed to mimic the affects of Marijuana on the Cannabanoid receptors in your brain, receptors normally agitated by THC. The risk is there hasn’t long term studies. No deaths so far…and i’ve seen people smoke pure JWH…alot.
I smoke it everyday, BLAM.
Many sites online sell K2 and similar products.
For example http://www.applebaked.com
As others have said these products contain JWH-018 or JWH-073. Aside from the obvious risks of smoking any plant material (lung cancer, heart disease, etc. which granted are all unlikely side effects with the small amounts needed to be smoked), JWH compounds also are known to produce greater anxiety than marijuana. While toxicology studies have not been able to find any problems with JWH (see source link below), these tests are not 100% reliable and the compound has not been around long enough to know long term effects. The tests do suggest that the compound is relatively safe, but by smoking it you are taking some risk. I certainly can’t say it’s as safe as marijuana, which is pretty much the safest drug on the planet. Also, the tests were conducted on pure JWH-018. The companies creating herbal incense blends don’t necessarily use JWH sources that are pure, so it could be contaminated with other harmful compounds. Really, you should just smoke marijuana which has thousands of years of safe use backing it up, unless you need to pass a drug test.
