A lot of people use dictionary/bible papers, because it’s thin and would burn well. However I don’t trust the ink, but it would be fine if it was just for a few times. You should try to get a pipe for back-up!

If you have it around tissue paper.

My friend recently visited Amsterdam and smuggled some back to the European country where he’s living. He IMed me in a panic because he wanted to smoke and had no papers, no bowl, nothing. I told him to try a receipt from McDonald’s or anything like that. He told me the next day that it worked like a charm! You’ll need some honey or syrup to make it stick together like you would with a blunt.

Another thing I used to use in a pinch is aluminum foil. Tear off about six inches of foil and grab a perfectly round pen. Starting at one of the short (six inch) ends, somewhat loosely wrap the foil around the pen until you’re left with a tube of foil around the pen. Carefully pull the pen out of the foil tube, and bend the tube at a 45 degree angle about half an inch to an inch from one end. You now have a foil pipe. Place your weed in the bent end, light, and enjoy. The best part? You can tightly roll up and throw out the “pipe” when you’re done with it. The aforementioned friend and I used to do this constantly when we were younger (about ten years ago – late teens and early 20s) and wanted to smoke in the car and not “ride dirty” when we were done smoking.
