What are the steps to legaly growing and selling marijuana?
I am from california, and I hate my job. I love marijuana, and I have heard of people legally growing marijuana, and then legally selling it to canabis clubs around california for a good profit. Does anyone know the steps to do this? Is it a feasable career path? I’ve heard alot more speculation about completely legalizing marijuana in calfornia soon due to the financial crisis.
While the legal gap decreases with every state victory, there remains a prevalent misconception that marijuana is a... Read More »

Are you for real?
Pick up a copy of the LA Weekly or SF Weekly and look for ads.
You typically have to have a Med. Marijuana card from a Dr.
But you can *still* be fired from a job for failed drug tests, and I don’t believe you sell it back to the Prop. 215 establishment- I think you just trade it.
DON’T ask your GP for a card- go the the doctors in the ads- you typically have to pay $250 for an “exam” and bring proof of your medical condition, from a radiologist or other licensed doctor. And no, I don’t think it’s covered by insurance.
It’s not that hard to get a card- If you have everything from a painful knee or a bunion that hurts, you can prolly get a card.
Some non-terminal damage that can get you a card;
1. Sleep disorders.
2. Neurology damage
3. Bone damage
4. Tumors
And the obvious, like MS, Cancer, etc.
CAVEAT:
The laws go back and forth on this- Under Clinton, it was basically “decriminalized” – Under Bush, people were arrested, given a misdemeanor record, 1 year probation and a $100 fine. You better keep up with up-to-date legal information or you can land in legal trouble:
“Ignorantia juris non excusat”
Police *still* make arrests for Marijuana, and you can have a record, but it is a misdemeanor not a felony in CA – IF you have a card.
If you grow MJ without a card, that is Felony with intent to sell and will get you Federal jail time.
The “Spirit” of the law is to aid terminal patients, but there is a lot of abuse of this law happening all the time –
You can’t. Only research facilties can legally grow it, and no one can legally sell it.
California dis legalize marijuana for medicinal use, and some legislator is talking about legalizing it all out, but it is still illegal under federal law, and the feds have been busting the cannabis clubs and people that have been growing it legally under California law.
There is no way to do it completely legally, but it can be pretty profitable anyways… I’m hoping they won’t legalize it because then the cost will decrease and availability will increase, so dealers will be fucked.
Well, I am not sure about the legality of it all, but in terms of growing it, check out the cannabis grow bible.
