chances are pretty high, check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Proposition_19_(2010)
i am supporting the legalization of marijuana.
Not as high as you bud.
It currently leads by 49% to 42% in a recent poll.
However, remember, even if it passes, selling marijuana will still be a *Federal* crime, and while the DEA has been observing a policy of not busting *medical* marijuana dealers that are complying with State law, they have made it clear that *recreational* marijuana dealers will enjoy no such leniency.
Ironic side note….
After the mega-bucks donations from “Oaksterdam” weed millionaire Richard Lee, and $100,000 from porn and sex-toy mogul Phillip Harvey, the next biggest donors to “Yes on 19” are drug testing labs, since they predict that if pot is legal in CA, increased use will lead to increased demands for drug testing by employers.

Zero. California does not have the ability to legalize marijuana. All they can do is decriminalize it in state law. It will still be a federal felony to possess, transport, or sell it.
It’s not actually legalizing anything. It’s still illegal under Federal law. The proposition really gives Californians less rights than they already have and begins the corporatization of cannabis. It is especially bad for the real users of medical marijuana. I know we are a society that is sold on newspaper headlines but if you read the fine print you will see that this prop is bad for California. If you wanna know what’s really going on, check out this article.
