Yea you would rather see your tax money going into the drug war, you’re an idiot. You would actually be saving money in terms of how your taxes are spent if marijuana was legal.
Prop 19 sucked, dont make excuses and blame all the prop 212 folks or beer industry. Prop 19 simply sucked ass and would have been a Trojan horse for TAX AND REGULATION.. We dont want tax or regulation. Voted no…
I would’ve voted yes… but I didn’t realize you had to register by 15 days before the election. Oops.
For now, the drug cartels continue to win, nonviolent users continue to be thrown in prison for possession, and a prohibition brought about by money greed and racism persists. Good job, California, way to stay firmly rooted in the 20th century… 🙁
@RevJesseJackson It’s already decriminalized, and was further decriminalized. Everything that was done in california was carefully planned to make sure the law did not pass. Propaganda was key to failure, and many fears were manipulated (fear of stoned drivers/workers/youth, etc, fear the people making the money off pot will now lose their money, fear of gov. taxation, all these were lies).
Your solution is not a solution, it is a prison death sentence. Drugs are the ONLY solution.
honestly just treat it like alcohol or cigarettes. cant smoke indoors, cant get drunk (or high in this case) at work or while operating a vehicle. the amount of money and the amount of lives that can be spared each day would def justify the legalization. in terms of health, its far better than the damage done from alcohol or cigarettes.
@RevJesseJackson Yeah ya got a point but that’s rather defeatist especially if your only going on the notions of someones one sided opinions then rather examining the bigger picture. Legalizing the stuff isn’t all that complicated but due to the laziness and fears by certain political figures and or corporations to ADJUST to this product, the people are the ones who are going to suffer. Its not my job to tell people what too or not to put into their bodies. Do whatcha feel…
@gunslingerpro not true at all, alot of pot heads, dispenceries, and dealers + dealers friends, were against it i know…but i know a huge majority of them were ignorant and blind..
people are going to blaze regaurdless, true. But if you ever go to amsterdam and see what it’s like when it is truly legal you will be amazed at how different things could be
Honestly, I’m highly against drugs. I think they are stupid and have absolutely no reason to touch them. However, I do believe pot should be legalized for many of the reasons brought up by the pro-prop19 people.

its illegal…..ok we’ll keep smoking
If you are old enough to go die in a war at 18, why the hell aren’t you old enough to smoke a joint or have a glass of whiskey?
Hypocritical assholes.
Legalize it without taxes and you might get my support.
Try to tax it and I say fuck off.
Taxing marijuana to save the asses of the politicians who fucked up the budget is a big loser.
You elected a gay Jesuit priest for governor, stew in your own shit.
“TAX, REGULATE, CONTROL” is a recipe for fascism.
Stereotyping Mexicans as gang bangers is sure to win you lots of support in California.
Instead of doing something about the border, you will continue doing the double talk bullshit.
@BHarris25 disinformation = false information, lies = not truth, you are being deceived either way, its the same shit.
Isn’t there enough posion out there to ruin people lives?
Take up a cause that actually does some good.

Disinformation just sounds so much better than LIES.

*lol south park reference*
It shudn’t be called “legalize” weed. It shud be “repealing” the law against weed…Weed were never illegal natural, it’s just that man made it so.
The judge is right, it’s a postponement. The margin of the votes was actually very little. Eventually, it will be legalized.
@gunslingerpro not true at all, alot of pot heads, dispenceries, and dealers + dealers friends, were against it i know…but i know a huge majority of them were ignorant and blind..
if ppl want to get high they are going too
@watercup123456 Lol I would have voted towards decriminalization. But I was offering the other solution. lol
1,820,619 people are sane, the other 2,268,002 never got high
