Stop Prop 19.com Campaign Ad – Revised
This is a newer version of the StopProp19 Campaign Ad. This time, it is more gripping, powerful and accurate than the first time around. We will succeed in our mission to make the world a better place; please come watch. ;D Stop the Lies and Legalize. When I first saw the original “StopProp19” campaign Ad, I couldn’t get over how inaccurate it was. So, what did I do? First, I made a response video to pick it apart on my main Channel (CaptainMatey), and then I decided that it wasn’t quite enough. So, I decided to completely remake this disease of ad to make it better and more accurate. Considering that I only used Windows Movie Maker and Gimp and finished it in one night, I think I did a pretty decent job. I was lucky enough to find a couple of the images used in the original without any word written on them while doing google image searches. Figures, huh? ;D Feel free to re-post and embed this video anywhere and do whatever you want with it – in fact, I encourage it. I don’t even care if I get credit for it; I just want to make people aware of the truth about cannabis.
if you were to go around your house and look at everything made out of fabric, it all could of been made with hemp. canada has a car that runs on hemp oil. hemp also has many nutritional benefits without the necessity of getting you high. if nothing else, at least legalize hemp
***HEMP IS THE ANSWER!***
We can get fuel, food, plastics, oils, insulation, textiles, paper, and thousands of other superior products. It can end our dependency on foreign oil that fund extremist regimens and terrorism. It can solve our deforestation problem as virtually no tree would have to be cut down for its products. Why are we humans so dumb? When are we going to get out of our way? This incredible plant had been used for thousands of years.Making hemp illegal is a crime against humanity.
As prohibition catapulted organized crime in 30ies – so illegal drugs now
Drugs are 50b$ economy that breeds gangs, traffikers & cartels; feeds Al Kaida & Taliban; murdered 100s 1000s in Colombia & Mexico.
In addition it catapulted crime to feed addiction, clogged jails, diverted huge budgets and police attention from things that really matter.
All this to keep police and “family lovers” happy?..
THE KING IS NAKED! LEGALIZE ALL DRUGS!!
The rpohibiyion of alcohol is excellent example for why marijuana together with ALL! drugs should be legalized.
As prohibition catapulted the organized crime in the 30ies, the same with the drugs control now.
It makes 50billion dollars per year economy that feeds gangs, traffickers, cartels, Al Kaida & Taliban.
100s 1000s murdered in Colombia & Mexico.
Overcrowded jails, rampant crime and huge budgets wasted on “war on drugs”
All this to make cops and “family lovers” happy.
THE KING IS NAKED!
I feel like conservatives are ass backwards when it comes to weed. They act as if it’s our duty to prove that weed should be legal. No damnit the burden of proof is on you to show us why it shouldn’t be legal. It’s the damn 10th amendment and if they can’t show why it is Necessary and proper to federally restrict this then this federal ban is absolutely unconstitutional. They just like to pick and choose when to apply the constitution. They argued obamacare is not necessary or proper but this is
@allyfv Wait the election already happened ?@?!!?!? God damnit I knew I was supposed to do something tuesday. Shit so we lost? Bummer bro I spaced the date. No seriously though, I go to school in new mexico and i was gonna get an absentee ballot but I got high and forgot. No joke ๐ haha
@doomsoon yeah but the point is the statistics are waaaaaaaaaay lower for high people getting in accidents then is caused by alcohol or even just distracted drivers. And as for the potency bit, the average quality has improved due to better strains and cultivating techniques (example is hydro). But the best weed hasn’t changed much.
@MaxBlight why? It will generate tons of money from sales tax and we’ll save even more from not filling our prisons and courtrooms with people doing no harm. Especially when it costs like 40 thousand dollars for the average trial and the fine is usually 1000 bucks and then we have to pay for a little tie in jail maybe. It’s just stupid to say this won’t help california ease its budget defecit
@stopprop19 true that, in fact I’d call them polar opposites. You smoke cigarettes to focus and wake up. You smoke weed to relax and chill the hell out
@CaptainMatey lol calling me out on spelling and grammar how original
“Marijuana isn’t more potent now than in is in the 70s.” somebody was high when they made this video.
@allyfv You failed English class, I assume?
Main fact about it, once this prop gets approve CA will more likely raise in its economic problem.
@doomsoon you dumbass, his statements makes 100% sense, in order to be a hazard on road you need to move, and usually stoned people forget to turn on the engine.
Lot’s of your statements are bullshit. Stoned drivers aren’t a hazard? Some people are perfectly fine with driving high. Others will drive their car into the bread section of their supermarket. Weed isn’t more potent than it was in the 70s? It has doubled. Oh and the video is poorly edited, the music is cheesy…
But I love my weed, and I really hope that California legallizes it, and then other states may follow with a domino effect. Then maybe even other countries in Europe.
You obviously made this stoned, and lots of your statements were pure bullshit (stoned drivers aren’t a hazard, – experienced smokers, no. But those who just smoked their 4th joint ever ill drive their car into the bread section of the supermarket… weed isn’t more potent than the 70s… ofcourse it is.)
But I do love my weed, I hope California legalizing it will have somewhat of a domino effect and other states follow. Then maybe even other countries…
I agree with everything in this video except for the fact that it isnt more potent because it its. It has a much larger percentage of THC then it did in the 70s not that thats a bad thing……………….LEGALIZE IT!
@jason4275 prop 19 failed… you know hwy? because the people for it were too high to remember to vote lol
@jason4275 ha it failed you know why??? because people for it was too high to remember to vote lol
@allyfv yep why not is has not cause any problem in vegas
While I am all for legalization, I’m a user myself, I am quite sure it’s quite a bit more potent than it was during the hippy era, about 3-4 times more THC. Can’t say I was alive then, so not certain
. Most weed circling around is skunk it seems, maybe it’s different overseas (I’m from Eastern Europe).
Thank you for spreading knowledge and truth instead of ignorance. Vote Prop 19
I think i should point something out. While I’m not sure if marijuana has more toxins than tobacco, people arent gonna be smokin 2 packs of joints a day like many addicted smokers do. So the overally intake would be less. That added to the many ways of ingesting it….. i really dont understand how you could possibly oppose this. So much crime gone. Let’s not forget about the countless people dying in Mexico and other countries
because of illegal drug trade.
haha dude, youre awesome
@jason4275 i said drug dealers in general i never said anything about cops… so whats next in legalizing prostitution?
