Should the Feds be allowed to bust legal marijuana farms in CA?
Why/Why not?
It is legal for medicinal use. There are state sanctioned farms in the northern part of the state.

Yep I’d say.. sides its not legalized there in CA correct???
Considering marijuana is illegal by federal law, it doesn’t matter if the farms are state sanctioned or not.
Well, by federal law it is illegal, so they do currently have a right to do so. However, I DO think that federal laws regarding marijuana should be reformed to allow state’s choice on this issue. Many states are coming around to supporting marijuana, but some are still very against it. I dont think either side’s hands should be tied by the other on this. The states that want legal marijuana shouldnt be forced to not be able to, and the states that dont want it shouldnt be forced to allow it.
I personally support marijuana legalization both medicinally and recreationally. It has few medical risks compared to things like alcohol/tobacco and even the pharmacuticals we take. It has a slew of medical uses, and could be a huge source of new revenue.
Absolutely not. Yes, federal law does preside over state law. But think of what they’re doing. That marijuana is being sold by hospitals to people with state-issued medical cards. Many of them need it to deal with pain none of us here can imagine, and marijuana is the only drug that some people can use not only to relieve pain but stimulate appetite and relieve nausea. The less marijuana in hospitals to sell to these patients, the more they’ll have to buy from local drug dealers.
Absolutely. They should also be allowed to shoot all potheads they come in contact with.
Not sure if you have been following the news but here’s an update.
Attorney General Eric Holder has come out and said they are stopping the raids on dispensaries. And President Obama supports medical marijuana himself. The goal for the D.E.A. now is to go after more hardcore drugs. The direct quote read,
“federal resources should not be used to circumvent state laws.”
I would assume it goes for the same on the legal farms.
