PROP. 19 IS ONLY THE BEGINNING (NOV. 2nd 2010)
Proposition 19, also known as the Regulate, Control and Tax Cannabis Act of 2010, is a California ballot proposition which will be on the November 2, 2010 California statewide ballot. It legalizes various marijuana-related activities, allows local governments to regulate these activities, permits local governments to impose and collect marijuana-related fees and taxes, and authorizes various criminal and civil penalties. In March 2010 it qualified to be on the November statewide ballot. It requires a simple majority in order to pass, and would take effect the day after the election.[3] Yes on 19 is the official advocacy group for the initiative, and No On Proposition 19 is the official opposition group. Proponents of Proposition 19 argue that it would help with California’s budget shortfall, cut off funding to violent drug cartels, and redirect law enforcement resources to more dangerous crime,while opponents claim that its gaps and flaws will have serious unintended consequences on public safety, workplaces, and federal funding. As of October 2010, even if the proposition is passed, the sale of marijuana will remain illegal under federal law via the Controlled Substances Act. @SharkTheArdvark
No taxes on marijuana.
Tax = Babylon
This is not the Rastafari way.
It is the Rastafari way to grow and share the fruit of the earth and freely give it to heal.
That which is given you should be given and you will always have the fruit of the earth in your time of need.
This is the way of the Rastafari.
Greedy, greedy man…
Babylon is full of lies with daggers behind smiles.
Who is I you ask me?
I is he you waited for… I am the first who always follows the last, as the earth is a circle, so is the Lions of Judah.
You know the way of the Rastafari is to give freely that which is given you. Babylon only takes and never gives.
You ask who I is when you know already, you do not live free with Babylon.
Babylon comes with daggers behind smiles to take taxes and take slaves.
No I say…
whatever happened happened. It is a shame that it didn’t pass but it’s a matter of time not a matter of “if”.
Cannabis is still available. Plenty of it available. So if that money goes to the cartels, then it does. People will still smoke and toke. The government wants to keep it illegal, then fine so what it was already like that. The voters don’t like the wording of the proposition, so wait till 2012 for a better one.
Nothing changed for the worse! The discussion did get bigger though
@SharkTheArdvark yeah, umm,
i dont think so lol
complete corruption in my opinion
too bad it failed…………..thumbs up if u think thats some SHIT!! alcohol is the worst drug on tha planet, it was on the news. worse then coke and heroin. Weed isnt even a drug. 2012 this NEEDS TO PASS!! Marijuana or bust
just voted yes on prop 19
The approbation of the prop 19 is the only hope for Mexico people to stop all the violence; our government will not stop this war against narcotraffic until something force it. The stupid war of Felipe Calderon, transformed our country into one of the most violent and unsafe countries of the world, for him all the innocent victims (childrens, women, students, etc) are just a “colateral damage”.
Please CA people think about it, we need your help.
Canadian support of Prop.19! Yes on 19 today California! And show the rest of the world we can start to change our society as a whole today and live in a world where Marijuana is legal! The Union is a great watch!
I voted yes on 19 YEAHHHHHH!!!!
