its just too bad that it didn’t pass. Sad part is that most of the people who use the ganj voted against it thinking it would ruin the prices and what not π
No people don’t obey the law but than they get arrested for it your saying if it where legal they wouldn’t do it in there back yards they’d do it in public, why would they change where they do it, if they do it in public they brake the law, if they do it in there backyard like they have been and have had no problem doing so they’ll be fine, so i dont understand why you think that would all of the sudden change, they smoke where they are comfortable smoking
@majicmazo you say that as if everyone obeys the law, and your forgetting human nature. if you give someone an inch they will take a foot. don’t forget that.
@DistubingCreation Actully i do know that, because it was written in the law “consumption of marijuana would only be permitted in a residence or other non-public place.β
@ChildoftheKorn0 too bad, and im right, its like drinking poison and burning plastic and inhaling it; the world is full of abusers and criminals who use drugs and alchohol, the world WOULD be a better place if they illegalize all of it. so GOOD DAY SIR!!!!! GO SUCK A BAG OF DICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@helluvaday123 you couldnt be more wrong. Do you remember prohibition of alcohol? Making it illegal made everything worse and the same goes for marijuana and marijuana isnt even harmful. Making drugs illegal has never stopped people from doing them and it opens up a market for organized crime. Now you might say then we should just stop using them but that is never going to happen
why dont the just unlegalize verything alchoholic and smoking related and then the world will be a better place, it is all bad for your body and you shouldnt do any of it
thums up if u agree
Answer: yes – drug laws cause whores, unnecessary chores, financial tors beyond the laws and disaffected youth with a cause, all of which my bird unsoars, and you know bird is the word !!
@DistubingCreation Nope because it would be regulated just as there is a law that states you can not be drunk in public, there would be a law that stats you cant get high in public which is a part of prop 19 but i think most people would just rather chill than go out and kill people when there high on weed
well if it was legal then it wouldn’t be done in just backyards it would be everywhere because people wouldn’t have to hide it for fear of being caught.
it should definitely be legal.. smoking cigarettes is physically addictive, cancer causing, and overall bad for your health. smoking weed is not physically addictive, it doesn’t cause cancer, and other than the tar it causes (probably the only downside), it is not nearly as bad for you. if you think about it, tobacco and alcohol alone are worse for you then weed, and being drunk is much worse than high. It would just make too much sense to legalize marijuana.
It should obviously be legalized. Are you dip shits aware that in the entire history of man kind there has never been a documented death from it? There is literally nothing dangerous about it. Plus marijuana could dramatically help the environment. One acre of weed can produce four times more paper than an acre of trees and hemp can be used for fuel, clothes and so many more things. And lastly don’t you see how pointless it is for it to be illegal? Its like prohibition all over again.
@WibSkelDS9 Oddly enough, in the senate race here in Kentucky (yeah, that one), the democrat candidate ran a fear/attack ad against the republican because one of the many “on today, off tomorrow” positions of Rand Paul was that non-violent drug offenses should be legal.
The Conway camp broke into a friggin’ Reefer Madness fit over it.
Meanwhile, I was sitting here saying “wait… what?”.
I gotta be honest, I’m surprised that this didn’t pass in California.
I would’ve voted for legalization in a heart beat (and I don’t touch the stuff)*
For once, it would appear that I am more of a social liberal than California (twice actually, I thought the whole gay marriage ban was a bad idea, too).
WTF, Cali, WTF?
(for the record, I’m, supposedly, the conservative Christian gun nut of my office)
*The more we tell people what they can’t do the more right they have to do the same to us…
I believe that not only should marijuana be illegal, but smoking should be as well. Getting drunk should be illegal, but beer or other forms of alchohol don’t neccesarily have to be made illegal.
@FollowHim4Eternity actually if you vape you take in 99% less carcinogens than cigarette smokers and are at a 90% chance less likely to die from a stress related heart condition
Of course it shouldn’t be legal. You’re aware that marijuana smoke can cause cancer, right? People who say that cigarettes are worse are dead wrong. Marijuana smoke has 50%-70% more carcinogens (the cancer causing agent) than cigarette smoke does. And as for the alcohol being worse? Ya, that’s probably true. But thats not necessarily a good thing. That’s like saying since murder is worse than theft, that it’s ok to steal. And no, I’m not a hypocrite because I dont smoke, or drink, and never will
