Police seize 200 marijuana plants in drug raid (raw video)
vicpolicenews.com.au Police have seized more than 200 marijuana plants following a raid on a Bundoora house early this morning. Members from the Diamond Valley Divisional Tasking Unit swooped on the Maple Grove property about 7am and found the plants growing out of several rooms in what police have described as a sophisticated set up. A 52-year-old Bundoora man has been arrested and taken to Eltham police station for interview; it is expected he will be charged with a number of drug-related offences including cultivate, possess and traffick cannabis. Diamond Valley DTU Acting Sergeant Shannon Bodley hoped the success of todays raid would send a strong warning to others involved in drugs. Were watching, monitoring and acting on illegal drug activity more than ever before, he said. We are committed to ridding communities of drugs and we want potential offenders to know that such activities will not be tolerated, he said.
@WeAreChangeBrisbane no way dont legalize it keep the price high so drug dealers can profit.
Police should be more focused on drugs like cocaine, crystal meth, heroin, you know, drugs that are addictive and can kill. Cannabis is virtually harmless, it’s been thought that marijuana is an evil drug but people need to open there eyes and see that it’s not. I support most things that police do but wasting there resources, and tax payers money and cannabis busts is stupidity.
watch them go smoke it(: no wonder they dont show what they do with it! Theyre puttin them in their fuckin van -_- Toke it up
This is great footage, and a sad situation.
Naughty, only mugs do drugs.
Just youtube American Drug War. Google LEAP – Law enforcement against prohibition.
And yet it’s quite alright for coalition troops to guard opium fields and have pure grade smack hit the streets.
If the Victorian Police can show statistics that marijuana has directly killed anyone, anyone, then please show us. Other than that this is a pointless war to fight, you cut the demand by legalising or decriminalising weed and you dramatically cut the supply. If there’s no money in it then there will be less crime committed to fund the supply and demand.
Looks like pot millionaires ?
grandma nooooooo!
