Petitioners against city ban on pot-related businesses | By Scott Rochat © 2011 Longmont Times-Call …
LONGMONT – Longmont’s medical marijuana dispensaries are calling for some grass-roots help. A petition circulated by the dispensaries had gained at least 2,000 signatures as of Sunday. The petition asks the Longmont City Council to reconsider its attempt to ban marijuana-related businesses from town, or to at least send the issue to a referendum.
