Pekin looking to have German sister city
PEKIN, Ill. (AP) — The central Illinois city of Pekin is looking for a sister city and local leaders say they’re eyeing Germany for prospects. The city has created a Sister City Committee and any residents who want to serve on the committee can turn in their applications this week.
