New Marijuana law in the u.s. house of rep?
I got an email regarding the reform of the marijuana law nation wide for the U.S., has anyone heard of it?
Basically what is says is that a person is able to have under 100 grams of pot on them for personel use. it will still be illegal to grow and sell the drug. But possesion will be tolerated? I know that Ron Paul was one of the bills supporters and creators, lemme know if you have heard about this or, if its been voted on?
They want to DECRIMINALIZE pot, not legalize. This means possessing something like 100 grams or less of pot is not an arrestable offence. Although I am all for the legalization of pot (It would completely save our economy), this law does not make sense. It isn’t illegal to have it, but it’s illegal to traffic? Where are the people supposed to get it legally, then?
It should be legal to grow as well. With our dependence on foreign oil we should encourage domestic development.
I smoke pot everyday and I do not think it should be legal. Pot makes you lazy and America is already lazy enough, why legalize pot? Hard work and dedication AND pot use seldom go together.
i seriously doubt it will ever happen.
I have heard something about this too. But like the previous person said, it would decriminalize it, not legalize it. So it would still be against the law and you could still get a citation for it, but if your within the guidelines of what the potential law would state you shouldnt be arrested for it. But dont hold your breath on this, it probably wont pass although it should.
