Marijuana use is a choice you make regarding your own body, it is an act only committed on yourself. Burglary and Spousal Abuse are BOTH crimes with clear victims, crimes against others. Marijuana use does not have such a victim.
Almost ALL of the problems associated with Pot, come from it’s illegal status, and not any inherent feature of the drug itself.

The worst thing people can do is say “Lets just legalize crack, heroin, burglury” Crack kills, ruins lives, very toxic to the body (overdoses happen daily to hundreds), turn good people litteraly into slaves to the stuff, same as heroin. The law has always had faults and wrongs, so because the law says a safe drug like marijuana is legal i would like to see all of these black people in slave times saying ” No we need to be slaves, whats next we gonna legalize murder, rape. what i dont get is, how many people die a year because of alcohol. Where as weed is a harmless plant that helps you. Alcohol, although it has killed Thousands of people, is legal. Unlike weed, where nobody that i know of has died from it, and its illegal?

Crack cocaine is a scourge on society, and if it was ever legalized I would seriously consider moving to Canada. Crack is much too addictive and debilitating to even consider legalizing.
If, I mean, WHEN Prop 19 passes here in California, our economy will be significantly improved due to the taxation of marijuana. Our state will also receive a huge increase in tourism which also means MORE JOBS!
