depends on how much you can grow and what of it is sellable…only one sex of the plant is sellable and you cant decide (just like with humans) what sex you will grow…..it would also depend on how much of it you could acutally cultivate….plants that are grown indoors under a light for instance like what you are talking about can grow to be six feet but where are you talking about growing? closet, greenhouse etc?..this is not an exact science just like i dont know how many tomatoes you would have to grow….also you have to keep in mind that hydroponic weed sells for a different amount from that grown outdoors and also the area you are in would be a factor…who would you sell to and in what quantities

Use large fluorescent lights and buy some cattle feed troughs from a large co-op or Farm supply store. Both are pretty cheap, and easy to get. Then make 2 holders to lift the trough off the ground. One holder make it 4 feet tall, and the other make it around 3 feet tall. The reason for this, is that you want one end of the trough elevated higher than the other end. At the lower end, put a 5 gallon or 3 gallon bucket underneath the trough. Now fill the trough with aquarium gravel/rock. You want to fill it about half full all the way down its 6ft length.
Then, take your seeds and place them just under the rocks in the trough. Now, you also need a small water pump, and they cost about $30. You will need about 8ft – 10 ft of tubing to go with that pump. Place one end of the tube in the 5 gallon bucket, and the other end at the top of the trough. Now fill the bucket with water, and turn the pump on. The object here is to have the pump suck the water from the bucket, and it travels up the tube to the top of the trough, where it will trickle down through the rocks back into the bucket. as the water flows into the bucket, more is pumped to the top, thus creating a neverending cycle and keeping the seeds wet, and the water keeps flowing.
What you have here is a homemade hydroponics system. This will create the best quality of weed that you can get. Now you can also add certain nutrients to the water in the bucket as well, but honestly I have just given you a rough estimate of how this works, and theres a bit more to it, but thats the general idea.
Now you want to know how much you have to grow to make a million a year right? Well, that depends on where you live and the cost of a pot plant at any given time.
For instance, here in louisiana the price is about $1000 per plant. Thats just from a grower standpoint. Obviously if you were to harvest the plants and bag it and tag it, you can get more. Then if you sell it you can make a lot more. However, most growers, just supply plants to the other dealers, and dont concern themselves with the selling on the street part of the operation.
At the height of my career, before I was busted and sent to prison for 9 years, I had around 16000 plants growing at any one time. I started much smaller in my home, and I lived in one room and had the other 3 rooms filled with lights and plants. I was able to grow about 50-60 plants in my house at a time. I made around 140 thousand a year, but after expenses that was prob closer to 90k. house.
At the height of my career, I had started renting warehouses and was growing on a massive rate. I got caught because my wife had an affair, and decided we should get divorced. I asked for custody of the kids, and she decided to blow the whistle on my choice of employment. Of course to this day she swears it wasnt her that tipped em off, but yakkity yak. I had it made at one time, with the nice cars, suburban home, and wife and kids. When they caught me, they also seized my house, cars, and 42 million in overseas bank accounts. Of course they will never find all my money, because I wasnt that stupid enough to put it all in the bank, but Im sitting here in prison for another 5 years to serve, so it will be a long time before I get to do anything fun, and even then, I will be watch on probation for 8 more years 🙁
