Medical marijuana question?
I am thinking about getting a medical marijuana card but i have dreams of becoming a pharmacist in the future. Will getting a medical marijuana card affect my chances of becoming a pharmacist or going to pharmacy school?
Thanks

It shouldn’t. If it does, you should sue them for not allowing someone who needs medicine a job.
Thats all it is. Well, not really. But by law, if prescribed.. Its just medicine.
no but when you do get that job you will not be able to use your medicine any more im pretty sure they will drug test you but for the mean while go for it it will not stop you from going to school
Why would your medication affect you chances of going to pharmacy school?
If it becomes known that a member of the pharmacy’s staff is using a controlled drug illegally, the pharmacy has to fire the person or send them to rehabilitation. If you don’t, you’ll loose you DEA license. That means your pharmacy cannot dispense any controlled medications. Marijuana is a C-1 drug, thus there are no legal uses for it.
