Medical Marijuana Month on daytime TV
February is medical marijuana month. Not sure if mainstream media was aware, but the topic popped up left and right last week. Here are some clips from “The Doctors”, “Tyra”, and (wait for it…) “Shatner Raw” – an interview with the always delightful Whoopie Goldberg. A note to “The Doctors” ~ Regarding your concern about Medical Cannabis prescriptions, it is far easier in this country to get a prescription for an Opiate, to have it paid for by insurance and even delivered to one’s front door. After some education about the medical benefits of Cannabis, any doctor should support it’s wide use. We need to focus our concern on the drugs that are killing Americans left and right: Pharmaceuticals, not on a ‘drug’ that has never killed anyone. This Herbal remedy is 4000 years old. You must ask yourself why then do we have this view of dirty potheads and bad, lazy people when we hear “marijuana”? It is the result of a carefully crafted plan called “Reefer Madness” and most of us are still under it’s sway. The history of marijuana prohibition is an interesting one, and does not have scientific backing. The science supported legalizing this benign substance. i jhave had bad headacks for years went in last night for one and i was givin 4 shots and 6 pills and sent home with the same headack

Medical marijuana has been acceptable for over 10 years now in the U.S. and over 1,000 years around the world.
i agree, but as medical use goes, i think its the best thing we have, when you compare effectiveness and side effects.
Hopefully the stay at home soccer moms took the relevant parts seriously.
