they should just leave it legal and leagalize weed, everyone will be happy lol ,tax it,18 and up use it , drug dealers will go out of busness, crime goes down, and plus what is not bad for you beer is way worst! Like everyone that dies is drunk.no lie… even if they ban it that aint goning to stop people from getting it.
@whoo689 Btw, nice “fair and balanced” reporting, KPLR. Where’s the OTHER side of this issue to give a statement talking about how ridiculous the ban is? Why didn’t you get a statement from the local NORML or SSDP chapter? Seriously… It can’t be that hard.
@whoo689 Arresting people for what they consume is not freedom. It’s tyranny. This cannot stand in the U.S. How can we call ourselves a free nation and celebrate Independence Day when we crack down on freedom so damn much in ways like this? You CANNOT tkae away people’s rights just for a little security. It doesn’t work.
Drug prohibition is the utmost insanity! It makes no sense. The costs of drug use are not nearly as much as what we spend in gov’t funds for it or all the effort law enforcement has to use. All they’re doing is saving face. The War on Drugs has very few positives, and we can never win a “war” on drugs. There will always be drugs. People should be encouraged to use drugs, if at all, in moderation and not OD, but the market shoudl be free. People should have FREEDOM.
@whoo689 And why does law enforcement need this to be banned? How was K2 causing them any problems? It’s nonsense. They’re so full of it. Is K2 really worth prosecuting people over and arresting them for? It’s just a waste of police resources. Victimless “crimes” are not crimes! A crime can only have a victim. If someone wnats to get high, so what? It’s his choice. Let the parents handle it if a kid does it, not the cops, for christ sake. Don’t complicate shit.
@whoo689 Saving just 1 person with a law is a pretty fucking low threshold. Do these folks realize how many people die from OTHER stuff, like car accidents, prescription or OTC drug accidental overdose or misuse, firearms, etc.? And they wanna criminalize K2? This is insane!
You guys know what you did? You gave the black market even MORE POWER by criminalizing it. It was better off being legal. *facepalm* What a bunch of indoctrinated idiots we have in our state gov’t.
Isn’t K2 just a type of potpourri?? What if someone wants a little potpourri in their house for decoration purposes or whatever? They will no longer be allowed to buy this because some morons used it too much and went to the hospital? Come on! How many deaths or hospitalizations have there been on K2? I doubt it’s a very high number.
On the Missouri gov’t’s YT channel, they were saying that the law is necessary even if they save just 1 person’s life. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
