Is there anything I should have at home I can use to calm frays on my hemp rope?
I make hemp jewelry and fraying causes me alot of problems. Is there anything at home I can apply to the rope to make it smooth?

try rubbing beeswax into the rope. Failing that a normal candle should do a similar job
Hairspray or gel. Failing that water down some Elmer’s Glue.
Would using a fixative spray help you? The local craft store should be able to give you some product options, too.
Waxing does sound like a good idea, but how long that will last is another question, especially for items worn on the body.
You can use beeswax,glue,or candle wax which is what I use and if your getting frayed with beads a thing my mother showed me is to turn the bead the way the string is wound:D
