ive heard that heating plastic is bad for you. yes i know it is. but while heating the weed, the steel socket gets most of the heat, and any transfered to the tape or pen tube probably isn’t enough to make it smoke. so tell me. is it still bad to smoke from the socket, and why ?

Yes, inhaling any kind of smoke is bad for you.
You’ll be fine, just make a little tin foil bowl to stick in the pen so you’re not actually burning/inhaling plastic. If you want you can put a straw through it, seal it up with gum/tack put some water in the bottom and make a bubbler.. that’ll filter out some carcinogens slightly and give you easy wet hits

yes. Use glass it is a whole lot better for you. and you cant get testicular cancer from smoking pot. No one has ever died from smoking weed.
huh… i don’t get the whole pen tube and tape part, ive never blazed like that… You should probably just invest in a bong or a pipe. This isn’t like a bucket is it?, well if your set on not getting a bong or pipe, then do this:
Get two water bottles one slightly bigger than the other so that you can put one inside the other, cut the top of the bigger bottle off and fill the big bottle with water and then with the smaller bottle burn a few holes in the bottom, so that when you pull the smaller bottle from the bigger bottle the water drains out
This is so you can filter the smoke out with the water
Now, with the lid of the smaller bottle…
Get a ratchet piece (look it up if you don’t know what it is) there should be on in a tool box, and then burn the lid enough to stick the skinnier end of the ratchet piece in so that the plastic of the lid can melt around it.
And there you have it, now pack your bowl and burn it, and lift the smaller bottle while your burning it so the water is draining from the bottle and the bottle should be filling up with smoke
Now smoke away!

If you are inhaling the fumes from the melted plastic, then yes, it is bad for you.
I tend to put foil over the top when i smoke, just as anyone with common sense would.
best thing to do, if you are worried about the damage, would be to invest in a glass bong, or make one from an old vase or beer bottle. Just find a tutorial on youtube on how to drill through glass
not really, better than a tinny. thats what i used to do before i got a piece. oh fun tip, put a hole in the bottom, cover it w. your finger, fill bottle with water, but foil with small wholes poked in on the top, put weed in. light& let water drain, BAM waterfall bong. i
