i’m going to amsterdam next weekend, and i’m wanting to check out a few coffee shops after i check out the heineken brewery. i’ve always smoked out of bongs, pipes, and hookahs, but never a joint because i was never good at rolling them. i hear they sell pre rolled joints in coffee shops as if they were cigarettes. is it safe to buy them?

Yes they do sell pre-rolled joints so you heard right (from me in my other answer 😀 )
Yes it’s safe to buy – then don’t mess around with lacing things with dodgey stuff and also of course are in business for the long-run (ideally) so won’t mess around with customers. Staff will roll it for you in front of you if you so wish as well because of course some people want it rolled in different ways (e.g. European and American style of a joint differs) and also of course if it has tobacco in or not as well
From a safety POV, it’s just as safe as buying the weed and rolling it yourself. Cost-wise then pre-rolled joints will work out a bit more expensive than doing it yourself, but if you are no expert and just want to smoke one or two, then i’t’s easier using that option anyway.
There are two kinds of pre rolled joints. With or without tobacco.
If the menu doesn’t say you can assume mixed.
The other option is pure.
You may want to bypass smoke all together, try a vaporiser or verdamper.
