Crikey, I hope so. It’s about time someone in politics had the nerve to speak publicly about how absolutely insane our policy is vis a vis marijuana. When the enforcement of a law and/or the conviction of the lawbreakers is doing more harm to individuals and our nation than the crime itself, then somebody or something has a very corrupt agenda.
I DO know that Richardson supported efforts in his home state to give a sort of immunity to people who call 911. Seems people were scared to do what it took to save their friends’ lives since that 911 call could lead to the caller being arrested on a drug charge and having all their personal assets seized.
