Immediately after the people of Maine passed last year’s referendum question, the legislature and Governor violated its intent. They passed 1811 and amendment to the referendum. It calls for registration with DHHS, imposes high fees, allows DHHS to conduct warrantless searches. The number of dispensaries are limited and out of state but politically connected applicants are given the green light to grow.

If they REALLY made marijuana legal, there would be too many happy people walking around town ; ) And not on their poison big pharma pills !
Our government servants are way out of line on this one. The candidate from Portland is correct, it is not about the marijuana it is about the government overruling the will of the people it is suppose to represent. This will cross the line in the sand of a lot of Maine people when they realize what has been done.
