The ‘war on drugs’ for marijuana is ineffective and for what, to manufacture ‘non violent criminals’ because they choose to be intoxicated by the less addictive and less harmful marijuana instead of alcohol. Scientific studies of harm and addiction should determine the legality and classification of drugs, not emotion or opinion. Marijuana is scientifically rated less harmful and less addictive than legally classified drugs such as Alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine. We are talking about autonomous responsible decision makers that choose a less addictive and less harmful form of intoxication. Instead we inadvertently support the black market, just like during alcohol prohibition (ie. Al Capone).
