In relation proposition 19 in California?
It is sad that to many people is in favor for Marijuana, we already have to many problems with alcohol and other dangerous drugs including Pot, we do have enough smokers lets keep them happy but please no more, politicians want more money and they know in taxing drugs they will be very succesfull in their carriers and they will more popular than they ever been. Uncle Sam has the last word.
well first of all marijuana is not harmful AT ALL. taxing it is the only logical way to legalize it. politicians get no more money if something new is taxed, their salary is pre-determined.
It’s dumb to say that Marijuana isn’t harmful at all. You can say that there has never in history been an overdose of Marijuana and that the benefits far outweigh the detriments.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Proposition_19_(2010) Here is a Wikipedia article on it. I think the main thing they people that support Proposition 19 claim is that it will help the budget deficit. I think Proposition 19, if it passes, will only lead to other problems. I guess we will see after the election since it takes effect on November 3, 2010 if it passes on November 2, 2010. It has never made it on the ballot here in Kentucky, but we have so many people that use it anyway and it almost always leads to more serious drug problems as you mentioned.
I think it’s sad and childish that” Uncle Sam” is so biased and resentful of marijuana users that they will waste valuable time and going after legitimate proprietors and smokers.
Not only do they have much better things to deal with, but they should respect the state’s decision.
CANADA, CALIFORNIA ( American South West ) and MEXICO.
Legalize it!
Im sorry you feel that way. But you should smoke marijuana and see how its not as dangerous as alcohol.
Hopefully once its legalized you will notice how its not at all bad.
