If the Feds weren’t doing their job, would they have seized more than 700 pounds of marijuana in Arizona?
People keep saying that the Feds are so-called not doing their job. So if they were sitting around gossiping would they have made this huge weed bust in Arizona?

Border Patrol Says It Makes Big Marijuana Find
Agents Say They Pulled Bundles Of Pot From Nogales Shed
NOGALES, Ariz. — Border Patrol agents said they seized more than 700 pounds of marijuana near the Nogales station, with a reported street value of more than $600,000.
Agents said they saw a group of people running across Interstate 19, and followed them to a shed. The Border Patrol said it pulled 20 bundles of marijuana from that shed.
“The agents’ vigilance and tracking abilities prevented these drugs from reaching our communities,” said Sabri Dikman, assistant patrol agent in charge.
Since the start of October, the Tucson Sector Border Patrol has seized more than 867,500 pounds of marijuana, the agency said. The estimated street value exceeds $694 million.

They’re great at taking people’s property away from them.
Not so great at protecting liberties and freedom.
The Feds along with Obama are doing a great job.
Obama has deported way more illegals than Bush.
Deportations have soared under Obama administration

The federal government is not giving them the tools or policies to be able to do their job effectively. The boots on the ground agents are doing a great job. There are two few of them, and they have to abide by very bad policy.
Nice to see we stopped illegals from bringing more weed in though. Wish it was 700 illegals caught instead though.
**Deportation numbers have increased, every year, for several years. It is not because of Obama, but in spite of the Obama administration.
The Feds are doing the best they can with all what Obama has provided. Saying they are not doing their job is a slap in the face to these men/women.

and the horror, is that, all that marijuana is a drop in the bucket. $600,000 is nothing in the drug trade. It’s like saying theFed is doing their job, because they caught 1% of all illegal immigrants.
Good for them! They seized some weed before it hit the streets. If only they could do the same with the illegal immigrants that make it past the border…..
Wow, you think a lousy 700 pounds is a lot? You know nothing of the drug flow across the border, my naive young boy. That’s only what 7 ‘mules’ can carry on their backs in ONE trip. And yeah, the boys are doing a fine job as they advertise their busts. Problem is, it’s only about a drop in the ocean of what’s coming across the border http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=7354412&page=1
Let’s fu*king be real here, for every pound of that so called “700 pounds” the feds seized, 100,000 went unchecked. So what the fu*k are you really saying? The drug war is complete bullsh*t. No matter how much marijuana they seize, they will NEVER be able to stop it. They don’t have the manpower and people don’t give a shit about a law that only serves to make criminals out of them. It’s time to end the drug war and regulate pot because it’s been going on for 73 long years and they’re no closer to winning than they were when they started.
The Feds are doing part of their job. Yes, they are getting some criminals and some drugs that come across the border, But we still have millions of illegals here living among us, working with us, going to school with us, and taking from the systems that are supposed to be helping our CITIZENS. They have a long way to go before their job is complete.
