Pretty much. All you have to do is get a letter from your doctor stating that you have a headache or nausea or a heavy period.

Under the proposition, it would be illegal to smoke marijuana in public places. So no, they would not be smoking in the streets. And I doubt they will become a bunch of “crazy potheads” any more than people are alcoholics now with alcohol being legal.
no i doubt that. If it does pass there will be no major changes. In fact the number of teenagers who smoke the good ole mary jane may go down due to the fact that it’s no longer “cool” because it’s no longer illegal. I believe that people will start toking in public, but it will be discrete because cigarette companies will probably start selling weed in the form of cigarettes. Also there will probably be a ton of weed distributors that resemble fast food restaurant. I personally will start one if prop 19 does pass and will call it “The Joint”. Oh and I call dibs on that name btw for any future entrepreneurs who want to steal my idea.

There are 3 other states with the same ballot measure. Why pick on Calif.?
The prop 19 is 1 oz. of MJ to an adult over 21 to possess, cultivate or transport.
Hope they can make tax money this way instead of giving out traffic tickets.
