If prop 19 is passed would 18 year olds still be able to get medical?
the vote to legalize marijuana in california says the legal age to smoke marijuana would be 21 meaning the 18 to 20 year olds with medical wouldn’t be able to legally smoke weed anymore so unless an 18 year would plan for his future by voting for legalizing marijuana sacrificing his ability to smoke legally for 2 years that could hurt the chances of it passing since most young people (including me sometimes) don’t always think about how a decision could effect there future and only think of the present so would medical marijuana still be available?
That is a really good question. I would think yes, medical marijuana would still be made available. I don’t think that Prop 19 affects the medical marijuana aspect. It is just decriminalizing weed. I’m not for sure but I have read a ot about Prop 19 and have seen nothing about abolishing medical marijuana. I do hope that wont hurt the chances of it passing, I really want it to pass and am voting yes on it! I don’t think it will be that hard for 18-20 year olds to get it even if it passes because people will be able to grow it then 🙂
