There are no physically addicting substances in marijuana.
Look at it like alcohol prohibition…was their more crime when alcohol was illegal or when it was legal? When it was illegal, of course.
Very likely. And while there is physically addicting substances in pot it is mentally addictive.
Democratic lawmakers in the state of California are in hopes that a proposition (Prop 19) to legalize marijuana on the November 2010 ballots will help encourage progressive voter turnout. However, most Democrats are so far unwilling to speak publicly on how they will vote when the votes close in November. Three House Democrats, however, have told certain sources that they will indeed be supporting the Prop 19 Marijuana Legalization measure, which would authorize California cities and counties, like Los Angeles County, to tax and regulate the sale of marijuana for adults, ages 21 and older.
Yes – I agree that the murders of people working in the marijuana industry is horrendous. However, before we understand the reason behind the killings we should not use it as a basis for our opinions. Perhaps, crime is increased due to a profit motive rather than marijuana addictions.
