Well I dont think thats accurate. Maybe they want to legalize it cuz they feel its not harmful. But weed is stupid and it is harmful and anyone who thinks different is obviously naive and dont do their research.

It is not habit forming and im sure people that dont smoke weed want it legalized it could stimulate the economy

So they don’t have to fear getting arrested and going to the pokey to get poked where the sun refuses to shine. But us stoners talk about more than just legalization. We talk about neat stuff… like that car they made that runs on water…. didya hear about that?

Is it addictive — yes or no — in a black and white world those would be fair questions

It is not physically addictive in that the withdrawal from the drug is not painful difficult if anything it seems a natural process similar to the processing of foods when they have impact upon the mood or mind state(s)

But the euphoria is psychologically addicting Some are at greater risk than others but generally speaking the poorest with the least who are also the most vulnerable in our society are at the greatest risk …… anyone no matter class that is generally dissatisfied with the world as it is and as it impacts them are those at highest risk in the society — it just so happens most of them are poor — but then it is difficult to tell fully because policing in poor neighborhoods vs wealthy ones gives us very limited stats on the true “crime” rates Just because the “owner” class doesn’t tend to damage property — is no reason to believe they aren’t just as motivated to other crimes which benefit “them”

So why is it only the pot smoker ?

Why is it only the fisherman that lobbies for fisheries ?
Why is it ONLY only livestock owners that complain about the costs of hay ?

I try to represent causes that are not my own from time to time anyway — It would never impact my life in the least for some of the things I am for or against —- but how many groups of peoples are doing that ? It is a good question in many ways — why are those effected the only ones heard from ? Because we have been seriously seperated from each other — We are not as much a “peoples” as we once were — we are divided groups that only concerns itself with what the “group” think — often only as spoken by a group “leader”

It has happened all over the western world — the machine the technology the incredible distances we spent our lives overcoming

There is still a nice echo in Canada —- individuals who at least tend to listen to causes that could never impact them — Instead of hearing boot the runaway coward US soldier back to the US — Canadians said — why NOT take them — ?

So the stoners complain about their issue and the ready mix concrete company lobbies each for his own needs and problems knowing full well no one else would give a dam

The question becomes , after while — who does the group serve — when it pursues only its goals alone to be defined in strength and voice by the biggest among them ruling the lesser to determine stance ?

If as persons — we were a people who tended to act with respect for the known wishes of others — wouldn’t it be better to remains persons and remove the group system as much as was possible without impacting the things we need and want ?

The reason you are hearing only from stoners about the problem of stoners is because they rightly assume no one else would give a dam and so they formed a group to only address “their” issues
