How would prop 19 affect those under the age of 21 who have a prescription?
If proposition 19 makes it legal to possess marijuana only if you’re over 21, what will happen to the people under 21 who have been given prescriptions for medical marijuana? Will they not be allowed to smoke anymore?

i haven’t studied it in depth, but my understanding is that Prop 19 is for recreational use, not medicinal use. I’m sure if you have a valid recommendation from your doctor (it’s not a prescription since prescriptions are regulated by the DEA, and they do not recognize state law on medical marijuana), you will continue to be able to use it, as long as you abide by the laws on medical marijuana use.
