so can i can put the seeds straight into the clone plugs and under a veg light on an 18 hour cycle without a dark period and they will still germinate fine?? or do the seeds need the dark period to start the whole germination process??

whats the reasoning for germinating
My seeds have already started sprouting after just one day but I was wondering if there was anything else ineeded to do to them after i plant them other than the sunlamps & stuff likehow often do they need to be watered & how do I know when to harvest??

The materials where I put into the seeds are clone plugs.
The disadvantage to give a dark period is that the temperature is not stable.
