Very few people buy by the gram. However, the price should stay about the same, whether you are buying legal or illegal. The tax will come off the profit end of the line, and sholdn’t really affect the consumer. Legal and illegal pot will stay about the same price, for if legal were to be taxed heavily and become much pricier, then guess what, everybody will go back to “illegal” pot.
However, what you need to know is the basics of the law(s) in your state. In Maine, for example, medical marijuana is not taxed, as it is, with a bona fide card, a medicine, and no medicines are taxed.
Idk about a gram, but it’s estimated that if prop 19 passes prices will drop from $400 to $40 per ounce. So you can roughly use that ratio.

I read on the encyclopedia that if it does pass, just the Tax per ounce is going to be $50. And they must defeat their competition ” the black market” you will end up paying about $100 including tax for good quality.
