How long does Marijuana or THC stay in the blood system?
I am having a blood test in approx. 1 month so I am wondering if a blood test will detect Marijuana, THC, or its by-product after that amount of time and when will it be completely out? I only had about .1-0.25g and it was my first time so will they be able to tell if i have taken weed?
For the record it is not a drug test just a test to see if I can take some medication.
While the legal gap decreases with every state victory, there remains a prevalent misconception that marijuana is a... Read More »

probably not because your levels are so low, just don’t smoke again until your test. also, flushers, niacin, drinking tons of water, etc, wont help so don’t waste your time/money
You’re totally fine. It only stays in your blood for a few hours. If you smoke everyday, it can take up to a week or so. It’s urine tests that take a longer time to show up clear. Even then, it’s only everyday smokers who have to be worried. It usually won’t even stay in them for a month, but it can take a month or two for them to be completely clean.
The amount you had was really small and it was your first time, so you’ll be fine.
By the way, you didn’t say if it was a drug test or not. If it’s not a drug test and it’s just a blood test for something else, they won’t even look for THC. The doctor has to tell them to check it or they won’t and it won’t show up on any other test.
if your just having a routine blood test, it won’t show up. it will only show up if they are
specifically looking for it. it stays in your system about a month. longer in your hair. i have
blood tests every 3 months and it doesn’t show up.
THC has a “half life” of about 7-10 days. That means half of it will be out of your system in that period of time. A heavy daily user will find it takes longer.
You can google “thc half life” and get more details.
Blood tests? Umm urine tests are what you have to be worried about but if it was just a few puffs you’re fine.
