How is that herbal vaporizers extract ONLY the non-toxic components of a material?
Wouldn’t it depend on the material you are vaporizing, as to which substances vaporize and which are left behind?
Is it just pure coincidence that the toxic chemicals have a higher combustion point?

You’re right, unfortunately there is not a ton of info about the different substances that can be vaporized effectively. I saw a partial list on Wikipedia.
But with the most popular material, it’s the moisture that comes out first with the lightest elements which happen to be the active ingredient. Most tars have a higher combustion temp and a properly used vaporizer doesn’t burn or blacken the material.
Other herbs that people use can be dry and the addition of a little moisture, by storing the herb with a bit of tortilla or orange peel , can raise the moisture level and then they vaporize better without having to be burned.
