How is California’s Proposition 19 going to work as far as buying?
If it passes, will there be special stores that sell marijuana and anyone can go in and buy? Will there be cafes to smoke in?

The Controlled Substances Act is a Federal law that makes it illegal to sell marijuana. Even if proposition 19 is passed, those restrictions will still be in place. Possession, however, will no longer be illegal.
Can anyone buy ciggarettes and smoke anywhere? The same thing would probably be true of marijuana, if it is made to be legal. I don’t think it should be illegal. I think it’s a choice that a person makes as to wheither said person prefers to have a monkey on his back. Most people probably think it is a little monkey and they can push him off whenever he becomes bigger. The monkey is a growing boy though, as are most addictive things. As the monkey grows larger, the burden gets heavier and harder to shed.
It’s a habit. All habits are not pleasant things to have. What is the difference where it is sold or used? The difference is in WHO is selling and WHERE you will be smoking. You won’t be smoking on the sly and accepting stuff that has lots of other things thrown in there. The government will have something else to tax big time..and that’s why I think it might as well be legal….why not?
