How does Prop 19 “jeopardize $9,400,000,000.00 in school funding?”?
I’m trying to fill out my ballot and I want to vote yes on Prop 19 but on the official voter information guide, that’s what it says. Can someone give specifically explain how prop 19 will jeopardize over 9 billion dollars in school funding?
Thanks

It doesn’t…
Welcome to the world of the red neck agenda….
It doesn’t.
It’s a lie !!
I would research federal school funding, there is probably something there about schools being drug free environments in order to receive funding and legalizing weed, which would still be illegal on the federal level, could very well jeopardize all federal funding for schools.
Well here goes. I lived in Anchorage, Alaska in the 1970’s and pot was legal to grow and use in your own home, you could transport it too, under 5 ozs. Then Jimmy Carter took office and said it was illegal, period and he threatened to end all federal funding for any federal program to the state. So, a yes vote to Prop 19 could bring an end to all federal funds in the area of education. Would the federal government do it, I could not say, but it is a valid threat to any state that wishes to legalize the hemp plant.
YES ON 19 NO ON BULLSHIT
