I handcraft all of my hemp jewelry. I have done this for about six years and they are really good, up to date with fashion but I live in a VERY small town and to try and sell them here wont work. I would suggest that you reconsider ebay or open a yahoo.com storefront as both sites generate a lot of hits whereas having your own web page can be expensive to develop/maintain/host plus there is the need to have folks know that you exist. This additional marketing expense can only be addressed by having “sponsor” links.

If you have a hotmail or msn email, then you are able to sign up for a free website. Go to http://www.officelive.microsoft.com. They offer a free basic site, including a domain name. This is a very simple site. It can be used as a starter site.
I make my own beaded jewlery with crystals and gemstones. I am going to be using this site to sell my product when I make them. I will have a link to a paypal site. You can use what ever pay program you want.
This is just once cheap and easy option to start a site. When you get going, you can upgrtade to something else, like the yahoo business site.
