Keep in mind that as liberal as California’s marijuana laws are, the federal law still supercedes state law. At this point in history, the law is far more dangerous than the drug (or medicine). Be very smart and careful.
Go to a rehab because NO Doctor will just prescribe it for no reason. You need to have something like Cancer, Glaucoma, MS ( Multiple Sclerosis) or something along those lines. By the way you’ll need extensive testing to prove that you have any of those.
One half of me is inclined to disseminate knowledge on multiple methods one might utilize to induce cancer, and then observe with jovial delight as you obtain Darwin-Award status in your despotic quest for marijuana goodness. The other half of me, however, is averse to engaging in the facilitation of your doom, out of fear of eternal damnation. Thus, no impartation of said knowledge shall occur. 🙁

You say you want to use it legally? Well, lying to a doctor to get drugs of any kind is a felony. One other thing you may not be aware of. The police in several cities have been raiding medical marijuana clinics. Doctors have been going to jail because of jerks like you dude! And the people that REALLY do need the stuff are going without.
AND the state may say it is OK, but the federal government is still prosecuting medical users.

first of all u have to be eighteen with a picture i.d
go to a weed clinic you can search them online in your area. california has ALLOT in l.a google it and search ones in ur area. u drive down there, go inside they will ask u for i.d and tell them u want to get ur marijuana lisense, they refer u to a doctor and give u the adress to his office wich is no more then 30 minutes away, anyways go to him and if u have a big scarr on u tell him it hurts, or tell him u have bad back problems and u dont like taking pills like vicodin or something, tell him u want something natural. they never turn u down cuz they cant tell u if u have pain or not the doctor is usually a black guy wearing nikes. oh yea the guy above me is right, clinics do get raided but he doesnt know why, clinics are legal in california, but there are laws on how much weed u can keep in ur clinic and how much u can sell. people rat or under cover cops go in there, put 5,000 dollars on the table tell them he doesnt have a medical mariuana card and the clinic might sell to him, wich is illegal. thats how they get raided. anyways goodluck
