you can not get one there are 11 or so people that have one but they are goverment ginny pigs and the program no longer exist they still get it so they dont sue
1. You have to be a citizen of a state where medical marijuana is legal-California, Colorado, Hawaii, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington
2. You have to be diagnosed with a qualifying debilitating disorder-Chronic Severe Pain, Glaucoma, Cancer, AIDS/HIV, Chronic Muscle Spasms, Multiple Sclerosis, GERD, Seizure Disorders, Crohn’s Disease, Chronic Nausea, Cachexia, Asthma, IBS, Hepatitis C, Parkinson’s Disease, Arthritis and many others.
3. You have to have medical documentation of this disease or disorder
4. You have to receive the written recommendation of a doctor that you be granted use of medical marijuana for this condition. If your doctor won’t, which many won’t, there are clinics in many states where you can be assessed by doctors specifically for this, such as The Hemp and Cannabis Foundation clinics.
5. You have to fill out a state application for the card. You can get them online. Here is Oregon’s- http://www.oregon.gov/DHS/ph/ommp/forms.shtml
Different states have different rules and different allowances for who can receive medical marijuana and how, it’s very varied. Also, keep in mind that on the level of federal law medical marijuana is still illegal everywhere.
The card costs about $150 a year I think.
