The plastic tubing connected to the handpiece is better replaced than cleaned. You can buy replacement whips on our website. To clean the glass handpiece and mouth piece, remove the plastic tubing by placing in just boiled water. If it doesn’t work use a razor blade and make a small slit in the tube. Remove and cut off to make a nice clean end. Place glass in a ziplock bag and cover with rubbing alcohol (Isocol /brand name/ available at supermarkets or Chemists) and pour in some salt. Then just zip and shake vigorously for a few minutes and rinse under warm water. Repeat this operation until completely clean.
