How do I clean a perculated glass bong?
I have a double 3 tree perked bong. I know 91% rubbing alcohal and salt cleans bongs really well but I have never tried it on a perculated bong. I wanna make sure I get my bong clean without getting salt stuck in the perks.

ask your local police department
you mix the salt and alcohol into a solution so the salt dissolves. It will not get salt in it.
I have a Pure Glass bong with three 5-arm tree percs. I clean it with what you described, at least 90% alcohol with salt. It will clean the percs, just get resourceful and make sure the salt gets into the percs and shake like a mad man,
To get the salt out, I get a hose and just run water through the bong, let it consistantly over-flow that way all salt is released.
If your glass is super dirty once all the dirty water is poured out, you will do yourself a favor if you FIRST rinse the tube thoroughly with super hot water, drain, and then pour the salt and the iso into the warmed glass. The iso works better on hot glass, I’ve found.
Anyway, once you pour the salt in, and then follow with the iso, you turn the piece over and over, upside down, and in every direction; you’re trying to get the salt crystals up into the trees. Hopefully, any plant matter that’s up in the trees will be knocked loose with the salt, but you can rinse and re-do over and over. Be very careful, especially if your hands are slippery, or if you’re using extremely hot water. Just keep a super tight grip on the piece at all times.
When you rinse, the hotter water you use, the faster the salt crystals dissolve, so don’t worry about salt being stuck up in the trees.
Don’t forget to rinse thoroughly since salt is so damaging if it were to evaporate on your tube. I usually follow up with a thorough rinse with Jet Dry. Lovely!
